Apricorn Aegis Padlock: Disco duro USB encriptado con PIN de acceso.

Se trata de un disco duro encriptado USB con PIN (Personal Identification Number), usa un algoritmo de encriptación NIST certificado que permite la encriptación de 128-bits o 256-bits del hardware en tiempo real.

La clave de cifrado se genera aleatoriamente, con la entrada de números proporcionada por el usuario combinada con el hashing realizado dentro de la unidad.

La unidad está protegida con un par de tornillos, que son difícil de quitar sin un desatornillado especializado y posee una cubierta anti-golpes para proteger el disco duro de 250, 320 o 500GB.
