Toshiba Portege G900 Software Patch – 20th July 2007 update

A software patch for the Toshiba Portege G900 is now available for download from the Toshiba Mobile support homepage. This patch is designed to resolve the issue of G900 devices failing to return to standby mode from deep sleep mode correctly which some users have experienced, and should only be installed by those who’ve encountered this specific problem. The patch can be downloaded at:

This patch can be installed onto your G900 either from an SD card or from the phone’s memory. Before installing the patch please ensure that your battery is at least half charged and whilst installing the patch please remember not to turn your phone off.  You will need to first unzip the patch before installing it as it is not possible to install the zip file directly onto your G900.  Please see the readme.txt file for full instructions on how to apply the patch.

N.B Once installed the patch will be deleted if you perform a master reset on your G900
